I have mentioned in a previous reply I am glad clients have a platform like this to provide their experience with a business, good or bad. Everyone has their own truth and I suppose this is Daniel's version of the service he received. I take extreme pride in the service my clients receive so when I receive negative feedback it's important to me that I evaluate the situation to determine the accuracy of the feedback and proceed to make corrections to avoid similar situations. I want to start by saying I am very comfortable with our firm's pricing. We are in business to serve our clients, if I can't keep the doors open because we aren't making a profit I won't be able to serve those clients. We will never be your cheapest option but we aren't going to be the most expensive either. We charge a flat rate that covers access to the firm for the entirety of the year. If our pricing is outside the range you have prioritized for tax services we understand we aren't for everyone and it allows us more time to focus on the clients that value our service. Now that I shared my thoughts on our pricing I just wanted to provide the facts on Daniel's experience with the firm and you can judge for yourself whether you'd like to work with a firm like ours... He first reached out to us via telephone on 3/18 at 5:16 PM; He spoke with our office admin and was told we were unavailable but that someone would reach out to him. A text message was sent to him the following morning, 3/19 and 10:20 AM, with a link to our calendar to schedule a Discovery Call to learn about his needs and explain how we work with our clients. He scheduled his Discovery Call for 3/20 at 5:00PM 3 hours after our Discovery Call an electronic proposal was sent via email to him. This was sent 3/20 at 7:55PM. The proposal was accepted on 3/23 (Saturday) at 4:36PM. On Sunday 3/24 at 12:00 PM he sent an email saying it was great speaking with us. He apologized for the delay in accepting the proposal. He said that he "stopped at a few big block tax prep services and they all quoted roughly the same to file, however he was looking for a longer term relationship". His online portal was created on 3/24 at 12:45 PM and instructions were sent to him on the next steps. All of his tax documents were uploaded to us on 3/25 at 9:45PM. His tax return was prepared and uploaded to him for his review on 4/1 at 9:01 PM; He scheduled his review call for 4/4 at 11AM. We spent 30 minutes on the phone going over all his questions and discussing different things he could do to reduce his tax liability. He provided his signed Form 8879 on 4/5 which is required to us before we can file the return. And on 4/9 he messaged us letting us know he had submitted the signed form and asking if everything had been submitted. We messaged him about an hour later letting him know his returns were accepted on 4/6 and he could expect his refund within 10-14 business days. From the time his final tax document was uploaded to our portal he had his tax return to review within 5 business days. These are the facts and you can do with them as you may.
